 February 2021

Hello everyone,
I’m excited to be updating again.  I'm glad 2020 is over. We step into 2021 leaving behind sad moments of lost friends and loved ones that went to be with the Lord. But then, there were those special moments in His presence where you can recharge, with hope, love, and joy just like Nehemiah 8:10 "says, The joy of the Lord is my strength!"

Let me tell you that there is a lot of revelation in God's Word, but it is reavealed in due season as the Word says in Proverbs 15:23, "A person finds joy in giving an apt reply - and how good is a timely word!" Amén!! As you all are in the same boat, you know these holiday seasons were something very much different than any other.  We had a good dinner on the 24th and 25th.  We opened gifts and stayed up late, but it wasn’t the same. We were happy, but not joyful; we were missing our brothers and sisters in Christ who every year come down to visit us. We are grateful for all the food and gifts we received. We praise His Holy name!! Because God is good all of the time!!! And some of the kids said it feels so different with out the brothers and sisters.  I tell you this to let you all know that you are loved and were greatly missed!!!  The kids all went "back to school" (online) on the 7th of January.  We crossed over our Ford Econoline 15-passenger van which really fits 30 in Mexico. haha! A new water pump was donated and installed for the kitchen. We started the year paying all school tuitions, getting ready for exams, etc. We are getting in compliance with DIF- welfare department on all the sanitation issues for COVID believing this year holds better thing’s for God's children, especially for those who wait on the Lord.

 You all be blessed,
Sister Esther

Kneading the Dough

Did you know that the shelter pays for each student to go to school (even virtually)?  This is one of the most significant expense at Pan De Vida .  Please consider a monthly donation to help pay for the extremely important education each of these students receive.

Christmas with PDV family
Due to COVID restrictions, Christmas was different this year.  We did not have teams that could come down for gift giving, so we spent our time with our PDV family.  Calvary Chapel Frisco and the White family blessed us with gifts and a new pump for the front house and kitchen.  Thank you Lord, for the blessigns we have.

Merry Christmas
